Mother and baby found dead 'were strangled'
A mother and her baby son found dead at their Birmingham home had been strangled post mortem results have concluded.
Pathologists carried out examinations on the bodies of 25-year-old Yvonne Walsh and seven-month-old Harry today, which confirmed their cause of death. The results come as the heartbroken father of Harry, Ryan Watton, posted tributes to his son on Facebook.
He wrote: "I feel so sick. My heart is empty and angry. I'm so sad at the moment. I love you Yvonne and Harry. I will carry you in my heart.
"I'm glad I saw you son. You will be in peace with the angels and daddy will see you again one day. I love you Harrison Walsh. Yvonne, you will be so missed had such a good heart and strong personality. May you also rest and hug Harry for me. Rest now, love Ryan."
Police found their bodies on Sunday at an address in Chells Grove, Billesley.
A 28-year-old man arrested in Oldbury on suspicion of both murders remains in a secure facility, currently deemed unfit to be interviewed by police.
