Police spokeswoman Sarah Astbury confirmed today they had made the discovery last night.

The body has not been formally identified yet. It was found in woodland off Hickmerelands Lane.

Ms Astbury said the death was not being treated as suspicious and had been referred to the coroner.

Miss Warren's car was found abandoned near to Sedgley Hall Park around 36 hours after she failed to show up to work.

Worried relatives of the missing 26-year-old, described as 'gentle and sensible', travelled to the scene yesterday from Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, where Miss Warren is from, to help the police search.

Dozens of West Midlands Police officers with sniffer dogs searched park and woodland in Sedgley throughout the night following the discovery of Frankie's silver Honda Civic at 6.50pm on Thursday.

Relatives said her disappearance was totally out of character.
