Pedestrians in hospital after being hit by car in Wolverhampton
A man and woman remained in hospital today after being hit by a car in Wolverhampton.

The pair were loading items into the boot of a car in Stubbs Road, Penn Fields, when they were knocked down at about 11.40am yesterday.
The woman suffered leg injuries and was airlifted to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The man was left with a broken leg and was taken to New Cross Hospital.
The pedestrians are believed to be in their 20s or early 30s.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman Claire Brown said the woman's condition was stabilised at the scene before she was airlifted to hospital.
The road was closed for several hours while paramedics worked at the scene.
