Opening date set for Aldridge pub
A landmark former bingo hall and cinema in Walsall which is to be a pub will open on July 9, it was revealed today.

Work on the former Gala Bingo site in Anchor Road, Aldridge, which was initially an Avion cinema, started last month and it will open as a JD Wetherspoon pub called The Avion.
It will create 40 jobs.
