The 41-year-old from South Staffordshire makes a living out of recovering items from people who have got into debt with finance companies.

But behind the tough exterior is a softer side, with sidelines including writing, mural painting and life as a family man.

Death threats have led to Sean removing his address from 192.com and other reference data.

But he is about to stick his head above the parapet in a new two-part TV documentary, starting on Thursday, which follows his day-to-day activities around the UK tracking down and confronting slippery customers.

The Repo Man is at 9pm on C4.
