New Sandwell leisure centre to extend opening
A brand new leisure centre and swimming pool that officially opened last week is having to extend its opening times because it is proving to be so popular.

Sandwell's new £8 million Tipton Leisure Centre, in Alexander Road, was officially opened last week by double Olympic gold medallist swimmer Rebecca Adlington.
But since opening to the public on March 30, more than 13,000 people have already been to sample the facilities on offer, with more than 800 already signing up as members.
Public swimming is being extended on Sundays until 3.30pm and additional swimming lessons have been added on Monday evenings and Sunday mornings.
