The service for the tragic 16-year-old will take place at 1.30pm at St Phillips Cathedral in Birmingham.

Christina died from a single stab wound to the chest after being attacked on the number nine bus on Birmingham's Hagley Road on March 7.

She was travelling to Leasowes High School in Halesowen.

Phillip Simelane, aged 22, from Walsall, has been charged with her murder.

The community has rallied round since Christina's death, including her friends and favourite football team West Bromwich during a half-time tribute this month.

A book of condolence was opened at St Peter's Church in Lapal, Halesowen, and shops have raised thousands of pounds.

More than £2,000 has been collected at supermarkets and shops across the Black Country for Christina's family.

Prime Minister David Cameron pledged to look at knife laws following the murder.

Responding to a question from Halesowen and Rowley Regis MP James Morris in the House of Commons, Mr Cameron spoke of his shock and said he would review rules on how those carrying knives should be dealt with.
