Walsall footballer Beckham dreams of living up to famous namesake
An up and coming football player is on the way to filling the boots of his famous namesake and hero.

Named after the world's most recognised footballer, 15-year-old Beckham Fulton, from Handsacre near Cannock, has already begun the process of fulfilling his dreams of becoming a professional footballer and has is now one of Walsall FC's promising young stars.
The talented central midfielder already has a successful track record having first played for Wolves' youth team before transferring to Walsall Academy Under 15 youth team.
His parents named him after the legend when he was born in 1998, the same year as him namesake's famous red card during the World Cup match against Argentina.
It was also the year he proposed to Spice Girl Victoria Adams and they became known as 'Posh and Becks' as they became one of the world's most famous couples.
The pupil of Hagley Park Academy, Rugeley, said he hoped to follow in the footsteps of the footballing hero.
He said: "I dream to one day be like David Beckham – although I can't quite bend the ball as well as he can yet. People are often surprised at first when I tell them my name but most of my mates are used to it by now.
"I am really happy to be with Walsall Academy. I hope to one day play for the likes of my favourite team, Manchester United, but until then I hope to get a scholarship with a club."
Hagley Park PE teacher Stuart Challinor said: "Beckham is an extremely talented young footballer who potentially could go on to achieve great things.
"I am glad that Walsall has noticed the ability he has and I hope that Beckham grasps the opportunity he has been given with both hands."
Beckham has already made his mark at the Saddlers, having played 15 matches for the team and said he is training hard to improve his abilities. Academy coaching head Graham Biggs said: "Beckham has fitted in well since he joined from Wolverhampton Youth team and has shown he can play in a number of positions.
"He is developing nicely and making big strides as he makes his way up to the under 16's team."
