Brownhills foundry firm Castings hit by drop
Brownhills-based foundry and engineering group Castings has been hit by further falls in orders.

Today chairman Brian Cooke said the fall appeared to have plateaued but final results would be "marginally" below expectations.
In December, the firm warned of a 20 per cent drop in orders in the previous two months as customers in Europe's truck-making industry had a slowdown.
At the time it said plans for 145 new jobs were put on hold. Castings employs more than 1,000 at its Brownhills base, at Fradley Park, Lichfield, and at a second foundry in Derbyshire.
Reviewing the group's performance from October to the end of January, Mr Cooke said: "In these uncertain times it is impossible to make forecasts for next year."
