CCTV released after Walsall nightclub attacks
Three men were being sought by police today after violent attacks on revellers in two Walsall nightspots.
Officers released CCTV of the suspects following two unprovoked and unconnected assaults in the town centre on the same night.
One victim, aged 45, suffered a fractured jaw and several dislodged teeth after being punched in Fever nightclub in Lichfield Street.
It happened around 2am on December 8 and the victim continues to receive medical treatment for his injuries.
Another man in company with the attacker was thrown out of the club and CCTV images of the two have now been released by detectives investigating the assault.
The second attack happened at around 11.50pm at Revolution on Bridge Street where an 18-year-old student was drinking with friends. A man walked up to him and punched him in the face.
The victim's nose was broken in the assault and detectives have released a picture of a suspect in an attempt to identify him.
The suspect is described by the victim as described as white, stocky and with a large tattoo on his left arm.
Officers from the Major Investigation Team are appealing for anyone that can help identify the men to contact them.
Dc Matthew Tromans said: "We want people to be able to come to the town to enjoy a safe night out. Unprovoked violent crimes like these are rare but do untold damage the reputation of Walsall.
"With this in mind, I am appealing for local people to help us identify the men in the CCTV images who we believe will be able to help us solve these two unprovoked and mindless acts."
Anyone who can name the men in the CCTV should call Dc Tromans on 101. Alternatively people can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
