It is to being done to allow a crane to be brought in to allow work to take place on the pub roof.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Church Street, Wesley Street, Queen Street and vice-versa.

The work is scheduled to take place on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday February 2 and 3.

The £1 million Court of Requests opened its doors in January last year.

The pub opened in the town's former library, creating 40 jobs.
