Driver named after Kidderminster crash

A 78-year-old driver who died as his car struck a tree in Kidderminster was named this afternoon as Maurice Luscott-Evans.

Mr Luscott Evans, who was from the Kidderminster area, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident which happened at about 12.40am yesterday at the junction of the B4189 and the A451 near the Park Gate pub.

His red Vauxhall Aqila left the road and hit a tree.

The Worcestershire coroner has been informed. A post mortem is due to take place on Monday.
