Dream home for a Wolves fan as Steve Morgan unveils show house
With a Wolves duvet, framed shirt and bedside clock – complete with an appearance by the club's legendary former striker and its owner – this bedroom is a fan's dream.
Club owner and property mogul Steve Morgan has unveiled the show home at the housing development his company is creating near to the Wolves training ground and academy in Compton.
Almost 300 people have signed up to view the luxury Redrow show home on the Compton Park development, which goes on sale tomorrow with a minimum asking price of £400,000.
And Steve Bull joined Mr Morgan and Wolverhampton Mayor Christine Mills to take a tour.
The five-bedroom Highgrove home is part of a wider transformation of the former University of Wolverhampton campus with 55 four and five-bedroom homes. Mr Morgan said: "It is a privilege to be able to present our first show home.
"The development has created an economic boom as well as many jobs building the homes and the academy. It's really good for the area and the people who live here. Everybody wins."
The homes form part of the Compton Park scheme, which will also see the Wolves Academy expanded, St Edmund's School moved to another part of the site and the university campus relocated to the city centre.
