Facebook search for missing Wednesbury man
A woman has taken to Facebook to help locate her husband who has been missing for two weeks.
Richard Toseland disappeared from his Wednesbury home on Wednesday December 5, after visiting the shops.
His wife Jennifer Foulkes-Toseland has now taken to the social networking site Facebook in an effort to track him down.
She said: " I just want everyone to help me find my husband. There has just been no explanation as to where he has gone and I am very worried. Using Facebook means I can reach as many people as possible, and let them know he is missing."
Mr Toseland, who is known as Rick by his friends, left the family home on Red House Avenue at around 10.30am to go into Wednesbury but never returned.
Mrs Foulkes-Toseland who has three children from a previous relationship said they did not have an argument before he left, and she cannot think why he would have disappeared.
She said the 53-year-old, who suffers from MS, did not leave with any extra clothes, but did take £300 from her bank account, although he cannot withdraw any more funds because he had no bank cards.
Mr Toseland who has two children of his own, has never disappeared like this before.
The couple who met on an internet dating site, were only married in April 2011 at Dudley Registry Office.
Mrs Foulkes-Toseland said: "I just don't know what to do. I just want people to see his picture and look out for him."
Police spokeswoman Gina Lycett said that Mr Toseland has been reported missing. She said: "We are appealing for anyone with information on Mr Toseland's whereabouts, to come forward. Also anyone who may have seen Mr Toseland in the past week is urged to get in contact with the police on the force's 101 number."
