Wolverhampton power is lost for a third time
More than 3,000 homes and businesses in Wolverhampton were left without power today in the third major power cut to hit the city in a week.

A total of 3,300 properties plunged into darkness in the Penn and Tettenhall areas at 6am.
Western Power Distribution said the problem was caused by an underground cable fault.
However it said power was restored to all but 150 homes in the Wynn Road area of Penn by about 7am.
On Tuesday more than 50,000 homes and businesses in Wolverhampton, Walsall and Willenhall were hit by a power cut.
And the day before a power cut forced Tettenhall Library to close and left around 88 properties without power.
