Bilston primary school shut by theft
A primary school in Bilston has been forced to close – because of metal thieves who have caused more than £10,000 of damage by ripping lead and copper from its roof.

The metal has been taken from Loxdale Primary School, causing flooding.
The school in Chapel Street will remain closed tomorrow and bosses have warned it could shut for even longer if the clean-up proves more difficult than expected.
