The regular Penkridge event drew in thousands of people last night with a range of craft sellers, food and drink goods and entertainment, including stilt walkers and a fairground.

Around 100 stalls were available as bargain hunters braved the cold and wrapped up warm to walk around the pitch in Pinfold Lane.

It has proved to be one of the highlights of the calendar and proved so again as families gathered to see what was on offer. The event was organised by Penkridge Market in conjunction with Penkridge Business Association with people getting into the festive spirit between 5pm and 9pm.

At the event, people were also be able to buy their costumes for the annual Santa Dash, which is taking place in the village tomorrow.

It has been arranged by Penkridge and District Round Table and Santas will run half a mile through the village.
