£19m marina and homes scheme planned for Stourport

A 408-berth marina, dozens of holiday homes and a clubhouse will be built in Stourport as part of a £19 million regeneration project.

Marina Quays will be located between Sandy Lane industrial estate and the River Severn. The proposals include the construction of 108 one and two-bed holiday apartments and a club house, including a restaurant and bar and gymnasium.

A wildlife and ecology zone will be created along with picnic areas.

The plans have been unveiled by Stourport-based Thomas Vale Construction.

It follows hot-on-the-heels of plans unveiled for a development of homes, shops and restaurants in Bridge Street.
