Five injured in two-car smash
Five people were recovering today after being hurt in a two-car crash.
Four men and a woman were injured in the smash which happened at the junction of Darkhouse Lane and Havacre Lane in Coseley at around 7.35pm last night.
The roof of one of the two cars, both Vauxhall Corsas, was cut off by fire crews so paramedics could get to the patients, who are all believed to be in their 20s.
Firefighters spent around 50 minutes at the scene and traffic was diverted away from the scene by police while paramedics assessed the drivers and passengers.
A woman from Sedgley was taken to the Major Trauma Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham as a precaution after suffering injuries to her head, shoulder, chest and abdomen.
