Woman killed in crash named as Natasha Kew

A driver who was killed in a crash on a road between Kidderminster and Wolverhampton was today named as Natasha Kew.

The 21-year-old, from High Street, Wordsley, was declared dead at the scene of the smash on the A449 in Cookley, near Kidderminster, on Tuesday.

Miss Kew was formally identified yesterday.

Police say she had been in the Black Country for about 18 months having previously lived in the Thames Valley area.

Miss Kew died after the Renault Clio she was driving lost control and overturned at around 5.45am. The car was then in collison with a Peugeot van travelling in the opposite direction.

A post mortem is due to be held tomorrow and an inquest will then be opened.

The driver of the van was not injured in the collision.
