Pauline loving slim new biker look
With her shock of red hair and tight-fitting leathers, Pauline Parsons is a true biker babe.
With her shock of red hair and tight-fitting leathers, Pauline Parsons is a true biker babe.
But, just two years ago, the mother-of-two was tipping the scales at more than 18 stone.
Favourite meals of steak and chips, roast dinners and full English breakfasts were to blame for Pauline piling on the pounds and she went up to a dress size 26. But after losing more than eight stones in two years, she is now a svelte size 10 – and is aiming to help others slim down.
Pauline, of Brambling Walk, Amblecote, Stourbridge, achieved her dream of passing her motor bike riding test after shedding enough to feel good wearing leathers.
Now she is launching her own Slimming World group so that others can follow her amazing weight loss.
She said: "I've kept the weight off over the last five years and still go every week to the Slimming World group that helped me do it at Peters Hill Primary School, Amblecote. I'm a steak and chips, roast dinners and full English breakfast woman – and I can still have all of that but just cook it in a healthier way.
"I lost 8.5lb in the first week and I cried. Now I'm full of confidence, no longer feel miserable and, since passing my test four years ago, I enjoy riding my Hornet 600cc bike."
Pauline is taking over the Slimming World group at Ridge Primary School in Wollaston, launching on September 3 at 7pm.
