Specialist designers will descend on the Manor House in West Bromwich next week and return the bare Great Hall back to its medieval state.
They will remove modern appliances including radiators and install medieval-style fittings.
A fireplace will be placed in the centre of the room and it will be fitted with medieval-style benches and a banqueting table.
The hall will be transformed from its bare black and white state, to one with colourful furnishings and a table with a medieval feast. This work is expected to cost around £25,000. Bosses at the Manor House on Hall Green Road will also improve disabled facilities.
