Bryn Nicholls has painted the Olympic rings, the logo of the 2012 games, and a Union flag on the lawn at his home in Apley Road, Wollaston, Stourbridge.
The father of three, aged 54, started painting his lawn to reflect events involving England back in 2008.
This year he was left with a quandary on whether to honour Euro 2012, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee or London 2012.
So he decided to combine all three. He said the design, which he came up with along with his 13-year-old son Oliver, had proved a hit.
It took around fours to complete with different coloured emulsion paint.
"People had been wondering what I would come up with because of all the important events taking place this year," he said.
