A motorcyclist has died after hitting a wall in a crash in the Midlands.

A motorcyclist has died after hitting a wall in a crash in the Midlands.

The accident happened at the junction of Bridgnorth Road and Wollaston Road in Stourton, near Stourbridge, at around 10pm last night.

Ambulance crews who were called to the scene found the man on a grass verge following the collision.

Despite attempts to save him, the man, who has not yet been named, was confirmed dead at the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival at the scene crews found a motorbike that had been in collision with a wall.

The motorcyclist, a man, was found lying on a grass verge.

Crews immediately assessed the man and full resuscitation attempts were carried out.

"Unfortunately despite best efforts by crews nothing could be done."
