Carnival time came to Cannock as hundreds of people turned out for the community celebration.
A succession of floats formed part of the major town event, which was held at the weekend.
All events kicked off and took place in the town centre with bosses happy with the number of visitors to Saturday's celebrations.
Carnival goers braved the worst of the elements as rain came down in the afternoon but by then most things had wrapped up.
It was only the third time it had been held in some 20 years having been revived in 2010.
There were clowns and stilt-walkers to entertain the hordes of people watching while youngsters also had the chance to have pony rides or have a lick of paint applied to their face.
Carnival goers also enjoyed great food and had the chance to pick items up at bric-a-brac stalls.
