The devastated mother and fiancee of Wolverhampton murder victim Tom Kirwan this afternoon made a heartfelt plea for help in catching his killer – saying his death has torn their lives apart.

Speaking for the first time since the tragedy in the early hours of Sunday morning Emer Kirwan and Jade Elwell said his death had "ripped open" their hearts.
The 23-year-old Wolves fan was knifed during a night out with friends after trouble spilled from the Uberra Club, off Wednesfield Road, on to the street.
During an emotional press conference this afternoon his mother Emer Kirwan said: "Please if there is anyone out there who knows anything, however small, please come forward so we can catch this despicable person who has took my beautiful son away from me.
"My heart is completely ripped open."
She said Tom had been her "rock" when her husband Mack died of cancer four years ago adding: "When times became very hard he would always say 'mum you will have little Tom and Jades to look forward to' and now the person who did this has taken our future away from us."
He had recently bought a house in Oxley with his partner of six years Jade. She said: "Tom was the kindest person anyone could know.
"We were planning to get married next year and all I have know is fond memories of my beloved Tom."
