25 jobs at new Walsall Co-op store

Up to 25 jobs will be created with the launch of a new Co-op store in Walsall, it was revealed today.

The 3,000 sq ft business is due to open on the old Vauxhall Motors site along Broadway, Fullbrook, in November.

The existing Midcounties post office that is based nearby will be relocated to the new store to provide improved facilities and longer hours.

Andy Cresswell, deputy chief executive of Co-op, said: "Walsall is our traditional heartland and we are delighted to be investing."
