Boats produced in Wolverhampton will be on show at an event to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee at RAF Cosford.

Fletcher boat builders, in Pendeford, is taking several of its best boats along to the special occasion on July 12.

The Shropshire Diamond Jubilee Pageant will feature 5,000 schoolchildren on a variety of colourful floats and displays representing 60 years of The Queen's reign.

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are attending the event as part of their Jubilee tour.

Fletcher will be displaying boats from their 2012 range.

More than 35,000 people have requested tickets for the event.

Fletcher was established in the late 1950s and remains one of the few volume producing boat companies in the UK.

Other businesses, voluntary and charity organisations will also display their wares at the event.
