Future of Stourport care home at risk

The future of a Stourport nursing home hangs in the balance after administrators were called in.

Residents at the 38-bed Lickhill Manor, also known as The Manor House Nursing Home, in Lower Lickhill Road, Stourport, will remain there while a buyer is sought for the business.

The home is owned by Gentle Care Services Ltd and currently has 22 residents, 20 of whom are funded by Worcestershire County Council, and 44 staff.
