By day he works at a Staffordshire station – but Pavarotti-lookalike Colin Miller also travels the world impersonating the larger-than-life opera star.

The 61-year-old has been working for Virgin Trains for 10 years but launched his lookalike career in 1990 when his wife sent off a photograph to an agent.

He can normally be seen at Lichfield Trent Valley station, where he is known as Pav to colleagues and passengers, and occasionally bursts into Nessun Dorma for a laugh.

He has been involved in a number of TV commercials and advertisements, including one for Tizer on 1,500 buses throughout the country.

"When I first started out, I said to my wife 'The last time I sang was in a choir at school, but I was kicked out for chasing girls'," he said.

"Even though I do sing a bit, I can't sing like Pavarotti – he was a true legend."
