A campaign has been launched to get a bus route running near one of the Midlands' biggest cemeteries.
Pressure is being put on transport bosses to introduce or divert a bus so it passes near to Streetly Cemetery and Crematorium, in Little Hardwick Road, Aldridge, after complaints of long distances to the nearest bus stop.
Campaigners contacted passenger transport authority Centro which today said it would look into the issue.
Blakenall ward Councillor Pete Smith, said the cemetery was difficult to get to for people without cars.
An overspill car park opened last year after complaints about drivers leaving cars on grass verges, ignoring double yellow lines and blocking the road off Little Hardwick Road.
