In pictures: Flooding at Brynowen caravan site, Borth

These shocking pictures of the flooding in Borth, West Wales, were taken by Express & Star reader Jayne Cartwright.

The shots from the Brynowen caravan site show water lapping at the foundations cars ploughing through the water, while one boy on a bike seems unperturbed by the recent bad weather.

Around 150 people had to be rescued after severe flooding engulfed their homes and caravan sites in the early hours of Saturday morning.

In the 24 hours leading up to the flooding, twice as much rain fell in the area than normally falls during the entire month of June.
