Singing star Becky Hill was battling it out for a place in the final of BBC hit show The Voice tonight and will be cheered on by fans at the pub where she works in her hometown.
The 18-year-old will be watched by customers at the Cock and Magpie in Severn Side North, Bewdley, where she works part time behind the bar, as she competes against seven other hopefuls.
Last week she courted controversy by mouthing an expletive when she forgot the lyrics to Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes.
But the performance won her praise from all four coaches with The Script star Danny O'Donoghue saying he would duet with her.
The Bewdley High School pupil, who studies music and art at A Level, goes up against fellow team member Vince Kidd, Bo Bruce, Max Milner,
Leanne Mitchell, Ruth Brown, Tyler James & Jaz Ellington. The teenager said last week she has become close to the other contestants and that it is difficult to say goodbye to them each week.
Cock & Magpie landlord Paul Winfield said he had watched all of the shows and said everyone in the town was rooting for Becky.
"We are very proud of Becky. This week is going to be the toughest one yet for her so we are just hoping she gets through to the final. It would be a fantastic achievement for her. We are all behind her. We always knew she had a lot of raw talent."
A pink guitar which Becky donated to the pub has taken pride of place by the bar. She has performed there regularly both solo and with her former band Shaking Trees. The pub has put up a banner and posters to encourage people to support Becky.
Meanwhile Britney Spears lasted just 30 minutes into her first day as a judge at X Factor USA auditions before walking off after a hopeful apparently butchered one of her songs.
But X Factor bosses denied Britney, 30, had stormed out or had been upset by the version of her 2011 hit Hold It Against Me.
