A female burglar who left an elderly couple afraid to open their front door has been sentenced to more than two years in prison.
A female burglar who left an elderly couple afraid to open their front door has been sentenced to more than two years in prison.
Kate Taylor, of Oldbury entered the couple's home on February 1.
She asked to use their toilet, before grabbing a purse and attempting to leave the property.
The couple, both in their 70s, tried to restrain Taylor who then pushed them away and fled the house.
Taylor, of Darby Road, Oldbury, was arrested after her fingerprints were discovered on a radiator in the West Bromwich property.
She pleaded guilty to burglary.
In sentencing her to two years and nine months in prison, Recorder Mark Jackson told Taylor, aged 22, he was handing down a deterrent to other potential offenders.
