Minds boggled as Derren Brown worked his wonders on an audience at Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre.
The crowd were completely won over by his efforts and by the end of last night's show, he had everyone on their feet – despite many feeling completely dumbfounded.
During Svengali, he looked on the locals in Wolverhampton favourably, comparing them to his usual London scene in a good light. Audience participation became more exciting and pertinent throughout the evening and, at one point, a couple got on stage with Derren and were testing their trust in each other through a dangerous game of Russian roulette.
He also showed his magical manipulation powers by seemingly taking total body possession of a member of the audience.
Other crowd members were even happy to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets as Derren used his mind-control tricks. He truly had everyone sat on the edge of their seats.
Svengali runs until May 5. Tickets cost between £23.50 and £31.50 – performances starting at 8pm. Call 01902 429212.
