A farm in South Staffordshire was hit by a fire that damaged a car and six motorbikes being stored in an outbuilding.

Twenty firefighters tackled the blaze at Villa Farm in Kiddemore Green Road, Brewood, at 12.40pm yesterday.

The road was closed for several hours as crews worked to cool a propane gas cannister inside the single-storey outbuilding. The roof of the structure also collapsed in the blaze, partially blocking the road.

Watch commander Paul Danby from Brewood Fire Station said: "There was a severe fire in an outbuilding." Investigations into the cause are taking place.
