A heavily pregnant woman, who was taken on a terrifying ride by a carjacker before being forced out of the moving Range Rover, today told of her ordeal and said: "I feared I was going to die".
The woman, who is seven months pregnant, was sat in the car outside a branch of Barclays in Oldbury waiting for a work colleague to return when a man jumped behind the wheel.
The robber initially drove off with the 32-year-old woman still inside but, after threatening her and pointing a sharp object at her midriff, forced her out a short distance away.
The Range Rover was stolen just before 1pm on Friday, March 30, but recovered five days later by detectives in Vernon Road, Oldbury.
The victim, a mother of one, who did not wish to be named, said: "I haven't even got words to describe how I felt. I feared I was going to die.
"My body would not stop shaking afterwards."
The offender has been described as an Asian male in his late teens or 20s, slim and around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 11ins tall. Anyone with information should call 101.
