Motorcyclist hurt in Wednesfield crash

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after the bike he was riding smashed into another along a canal towpath in Wednesfield.

The crash happened at around 1.35pm yesterday along the canal towpath off Whitehouse Avenue.

Pc Bethan Pye, who was at the scene, said:?"When they saw us coming they tried to turn around and then collided with each other." The other rider was not injured.
