Two masked men were seen after shots were fired into a house in Oldbury, police revealed today.

Officers closed Crosswells Road in Langley yesterday between Bloxcidge Street and Dog Kennel Lane, after reports of shots being fired.

West Midlands Police spokesman Brigg Ford said: "Eyewitness accounts suggest two masked men were seen outside the property when shots were fired."

The pair were seen outside the detached house, opposite Hotshots snooker club, before they fled towards the nearby Langley railway line.

No-one was injured in the incident and no arrests have been made.

The homeowner declined to comment today.
