A woman and teenage girl were taken to hospital after the horsebox lorry they were travelling in hit a cottage and overturned on a Staffordshire road.
The collision happened in Wood Lane, Yoxall, yesterday and damaged a corner of the building which has since been boarded up by wood.
Neighbour Paul Harper said his house shook when the vehicle first hit a low boundary wall at the front of his home, before it hit the cottage next door and toppled onto its side.
The driver of the horsebox, a woman in her 30s, suffered a minor head injury.
The young female passenger, believed to be 15 or 16, suffered bruising and lacerations to her back.
An ambulance and police were called to the scene just after 4.10pm.
The woman and girl were taken to Burton Hospital for further assessment, while a horse escaped uninjured.
Mr Harper, who called 999, said police arrived within 15 minutes and partially closed off the road.
The 61-year-old said: "It's really fortunate no-one was on the footpath."
Police said the building remained structurally secure.
