The mother of a missing 21-year-old man from Staffordshire has made a fresh plea for help to find him.
Thomas Haddock disappeared within hours of celebrating his birthday.
He had just enjoyed a dinner with friends and family at his mother's home before heading to meet friends in Lichfield.
Police yesterday searched the Trent & Mersey Canal but nothing was found. Thomas's mother Pamela Baxter, 51, of Shaw Lane, Riley Hill, said it was out of character for her son to go missing.
The last known sighting was last Saturday at 9.45pm at Fradley Junction where he asked a boater for directions to Bromley Hayes, where his mother lives.
Thomas is described as white, 5ft 10in, of medium build, with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing dark blue Armani jeans and a dark top.
