A gun was fired at a car in Wolverhampton, prompting a street to be sealed off. Officers were today carrying out inquiries in Staveley Road, Whitmore Reans.

A gun was fired at a car in Wolverhampton, prompting a street to be sealed off. Officers were today carrying out inquiries in Staveley Road, Whitmore Reans.

Beat officers came across three men examining the damage to a Fiat Punto parked near the junction with Leicester Street at around 4.50am on Saturday.

The street was cordoned off until around 3pm yesterday. Detectives were also viewing CCTV for any evidence.
