A cold snap is on its way, with frost and sub-zero temperatures set to grip the West Midlands until at least next week.

Forecasters are warning the mercury will plummet to -1C (30F) tonight, with widespread frost and fog expected.

Tomorrow will see highs of around 6C (43F) with frost at night. It follows one of the mildest Decembers.
