Search on for family of Wolverhampton stab victim

Detectives were today trying to trace the family of a woman who was stabbed to death at a Wolverhampton flat – as a man who suffered knife wounds at the same address underwent surgery.

The 36-year-old woman died after suffering 18 stab wounds at the flat, in Newhampton Road West, Whitmore Reans, on Thursday.

Police are waiting to speak to an injured man, aged 39, found at the scene.
