Glamour and style was the order of the night as party-goers embraced the hottest new highlight in Wolverhampton's entertainment scene.

Fire eaters, lavish décor and sexy models brought extravagance to the Mount Hotel, in Tettenhall Wood, for the Boxing Day decadence. 400 revellers graced the red carpet before enjoying a cabaret night.

It was the second such event at the venue following on from last month's launch night.

The Grade II listed hotel was transformed into a lavish boudoir as guests sampled cocktails and quaffed champagne.

The night was the brainchild of DJs Stuart Ojelay and James Garrett, and Wolverhampton's Diffusion designer store owner Gerald Bailey.

Today DJ Stuart Ojelay, whose Word of Mouth production company helped plan the night, said: "It is a night that we want everyone to look forward to." Celebrity Hairdresser Royston Blythe, who runs salons in Wolverhampton and at The Dorcester in London, was one of those at the bash. He said: "They have transformed this venue into something special."

Inside, glittering red velvet thrones became the centre piece for many group photographs. Guests were treated to a host of top DJs on the decks, including Elizabeth Jay, who is originally from Wordsley.
