Around 15 units on the TDH Industrial Estate in Watery Lane, Willenhall, were without power until just after 8am today after the rain shorted a supply box and caused a blaze
Two cars collided in Barracks Lane, Brownhills, last night, leaving a Freelander on its roof and four people trapped inside. They suffered only minor injuries.
The weather also caused havoc with power supplies in Stourbridge.
The stormy weather is set to continue throughout the week, with the Met Office predicting "rapidly strengthening" winds and heavy rain on Thursday and Friday, and maximum temperatures of 4C (39F) tomorrow.
