Stourbridge Football Club is expecting a bumper cash boost – including a TV windfall – after the team's FA Cup heroics brought a money-spinning replay.

Officials say the cup run could raise thousands of pounds through ticket revenue, lucrative television rights and prize money.

The club kept their Cup adventure alive with a 3-3 draw away at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

The Glassboys have already pocketed £30,000 in prize money and could land a £67,500 TV windfall from the replay. The game is believed to be among the favourites for live TV coverage by ESPN.

Around 2,000 fans could pour into the War Memorial Athletic ground for the match against Argyle next Tuesday night. Chairman Ian Pilkington said: "There is a lot to do over the next few days but we've already been making calls over the weekend to get started."

Club bosses admitted they may order new shirts for the replay after their specially-printed kits for Saturday's match had a missing 'R' leaving the word 'Stoubridge'.

And it was all cheers when the club landed a potential home tie against Football League opposition Stevenage if they get past Plymouth. Ticket details for the Plymouth replay will be announced tomorrow.
