Up to £50,000 worth of cannabis was found in a police raid on a house in Coseley.

Plants were seized yesterday from the rented property in Ward Street after reports from neighbours.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene and on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, the production of cannabis and abstracting electricity. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers found 92 plants in upstairs rooms at the property, with an estimated street value of £50,000.
