Two men have been killed in separate road crashes in the West Midlands.

One of the victims, aged 22, was pronounced dead at the scene after the car he was driving hit a tree in Wordsley, Stourbridge, shortly before midnight.

Less than an hour earlier, a man died after a head-on collision in Rednal, Birmingham.

Paramedics were called to Balmoral Road in Wordsley at around 11.55pm last night to find a blue Ford Escort had veered off the road and hit a tree, damaging a garden fence and wall.
