And the new "concept" at the £27 million Tesco Extra, near Burnt Tree Island, Dudley, is really taking off, with shoppers queueing for £10 wash, cut and blow dries. But, for some, it has meant waits of 90 minutes or more.
Staff in the Regis hair and beauty salon snip and primp away non-stop 10 hours a day.
No appointments can be made, and on Tuesday the wait was anything up to two hours.Opening times are 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, 10am-4pm Sundays.
